There are hundreds of marauding cats in this neighborhood that roam the streets freely & unfettered. The other day Thelma was walking me & Nestle and we must have seen at least a dozen cats, just lounging on their front lawns or crossing the street (!!) as if they had somewhere to go. It's complete anarchy. While I'm leashed and choked and constantly being tugged at and pulled and stopped from exploring the neighborhood, these awful, screeching cats just saunter along the sidewalks and in and out of decent people's backyards, fouling the air and the lawns with their droppings and whatnot. At least Thelma & Louise clean up after us!!
The cat across the street has not only taken to walking across our front lawn, but it even leaps up onto the windowsill and struts in front of me & Nestle--while we're sitting at the window!
I know! It's an outrage!
There are only 2 panes of glass separating us from that cat and a certain, grisly, bloody, screechy death. Unfortunately, the windows don't open, so I'll have to find a way to climb up the chimney, sneak across the roof & pounce on that stupid feline from above. Or open the front door. Nestle's too short to reach the knob, but I'm not.
